Hello Pilgrims!
What a joy it is to be back in the swing of things with Sunday School beginning this Sunday! It will be a fun year ahead!
A huge thank you to all the volunteers who make Sunday School possible with their gifts of education, accompanying presence, and loving encouragement for our Pilgrim kids.
We have a beautiful challenge still to figure out. Our church now has a small group of 4th - 6th graders who could use their own Sunday School space, where their particular questions and experiences can be heard, held, and cultivated. Right now, we only have one Sunday School class for all ages, and I’m sure you can imagine the challenges of engaging a 4-year-old and a 10-year-old with equal measure!
In order to give these 4th - 6th graders the space they deserve, we need 4 volunteers to make a once a month commitment to teach. If this is an offering you feel willing and able to make, please reach out to me to discuss! I would really love to give each of our kids an equally tailored space to learn and grow, and I know that I share that desire with so many of you.
Other programming is in the works and will be announced as they finalize, so stay tuned!
