Join us at United Church of Chapel Hill on Saturday, June 13, for a joyful Juneteenth celebration filled with gospel music, African American spirituals, community, and song.
From 10am–3pm, participants will gather for rehearsals and workshops as a mass choir made up of UCCH ensembles and community singers—no church affiliation or prior participation required. Together, we’ll prepare four inspiring selections in a fun and welcoming environment, with lunch provided at no cost.
The day will culminate in a 4pm concert featuring the mass choir, selections by the UCCH Chancel Choir, United Voices of Praise, and 100 Men in Black. UCCH will also present 100 Men in Black with funds raised through the Negro Spirituals Royalties Project in support of their important work. We hope you will join us!
