Ever Wondered What's Hiding Up There in the Choir Loft?
Hundreds of pipes are tucked out of sight above our heads every Sunday — and there's a secret door that opens straight into the heart of it all.
On Sunday, August 9 at 11:45 am, come learn a bit about our amazing organ! Pilgrim's organist Kyle Ballantine-Pollock, together with the Organ Evaluation Committee (Ami Nagle, Lee Sorensen, and Kim Wheaton), will lead a behind-the-scenes tour of the choir loft and our grand organ.
Our organ is central to worship every week, yet most Pilgrims have never seen it up close — let alone watched it work! Climb the stairs, see the double-level keyboard and foot pedals in action, peek through the secret door, and learn how a pipe organ actually makes music, along with some of the fascinating discoveries the Committee has made along the way.
