Watch That Moment I Understood White Privilege and/or the older video, True Colors. Notice which of your own memories of racialized experience come up. 

Be prepared to answer these Racial Identity Development Questions:

1. What are moments in your life where whiteness has been explicitly but especially implicitly been depicted as “neutral/normal/the default/or just correct?” Posted in newsletter and in e-mail.

2. What was life like for you before gaining any racial awareness? What event/series of events began to draw you into racial awareness? 

3. Where are you now on your journey of white identity development? What can you do to take the next step on your journey?
