Housing for New Hope Collection

The Auxiliary’s annual spring drive for Housing for New Hope is here. We are collecting new home items for the kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms during the month of February. This is an incredible help to families settling into a home of their own. Guide lists for what to buy are available in the Pilgrim foyer. Any of these items would be a big help for these families getting started after being unhoused.

The kitchen Kit items are: 4 cereal bowls, 2 dish towels, 3 gallon trash can, 2 potholders, frying pan 9”, handheld can opener, pot with a lid, 4 knives, forks & spoons, dustpan with brush, 4 drinking glasses, 4 dinner plates, 10-quart pail, 2 kitchen knives, kitchen utensil set with Spoon, ladle, tongs, spatulas, pasta server. 

The Bed & Bath Kit items are: twin or full comforter, twin or full waterproof mattress protector, toilet brush, 2 rolls of toilet paper, set of shower curtain rings, 5 washcloths & 3 bath towels.

Cleaning Kit items include: 2 rolls of paper towels, multi-surface cleaning wipes, laundry detergent pods or sheets, 2 rolls of toilet paper, and a and a box of kitchen trash bags.

Keep in mind, you do not have to buy all of the items in a kit; Housing for New Hope is grateful for whatever they receive. 

A covered tub is outside Pilgrim's door for donations on Sundays and during the week. During the week, you are encouraged to drop off from Tuesday-Friday from 9am-2pm, when Hannah will be at
Pilgrim and can bring them in at the end of the day. Thank you for your continued generosity for this project.
