If for health, comfort, or out of town issues you can not be at the Walk in person you can sign up to join our team virtually! If you're ready for an in-person gathering of Durhamites walking together you can sign up to join our team and come on out to Duke Chapel on April 10th!

T-Shirts - Are available on Sundays or by contacting Ellen Metcalf (preferably via text @ 919-260-5588) The suggested donation for T-Shirts is $4. T-Shirt donations help cover the operational cost of providing the Walk itself. This is to ensure that 100% of all donations given to the Durham CROP Hunger Walk goes to ending hunger and poverty. Hey! They're also great shirts making a strong statement - wear your t-shirt on Sundays prior to the Walk and Walk Sunday! Wear your shirt out and about too!
How Does Supporting the Durham CROP Hunger Walk Make a Difference?
75% of the funds raised travels around our world addressing Church World Service's mission to compassionately care about all God's children struggling with hunger and poverty. This includes areas devastated by natural disasters and local conflicts, as well as climate change issues including flooding and droughts. Recently, more CWS CROP Walk funds have been directed to the global refugee crisis including peoples from Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, and now Ukraine.
25% of the funds raised stays right here in our Durham community. These funds aid local poverty and hunger addressing agencies that see Durhamites everyday who are struggling with housing, food insecurity, and job placement.
