In 2026, $26,000 is Pilgrim’s goal for the 52nd CROP Hunger Walk, Sunday, March 29 at 1:30 at Duke Chapel, West campus. We set our goal at 52 walkers (double the year 2026) and we want to help regain Durham Walk’s first place, having been overtaken by only $500 last year by the Charlotte Walk.
We need YOU to “Step Out With Us, and Plant Seeds of Hope” for food insecurity in Durham and around the world. Our kickoff skit Sunday March 1 - the animals of the world, whom farmers raise to support families, will speak to us of how far our dollars can go. Pay attention to the ‘footprints’ on the floor that tell the stories of some of these recipients.
You can register on line at the Durham Crop Walk site under Pilgrim’s name, set a personal fundraising goal, seek donations via social media contacts. We’ll be outside Fellowship Hall every Sunday in March to answer questions, sign you up, take donations and place T-shirt orders. If you can’t walk, we solicit your prayers and monetary support. Together, we can reach and surpass our $26,000 goal!
