Yes, it’s time to get our reservations secured at Christmount! It’s such a beautiful time of year in Black Mountain and a great time to share time with church family and friends. We're hoping Betty Curtis, who began this fall church retreat over 35 years ago, will be able to join us!
Whether it's your first or 15th time at Christmount, this weekend offers a peaceful and loosely structured way to enjoy the weekend and get to know other Pilgrims. Last year, a lot of time was spent in the great room by the fireplace, playing games, reading, making jewelry, and chatting. And master marshmallow roaster Atticus kept us all full of snacks! Some of us went downtown on Saturday to see the annual "Howl-O-Ween Parade", when dogs and their owners (and even a chicken!) wore fantastic costumes and charmed the crowds. There's plenty of time for napping, hiking, and exploring the shops and restaurants in the town of Black Mountain.
The dates are October 23-25, Friday-Sunday, a perfect two-night stay. The cost is $120 per night, per room (not per person). *We’re hoping to have a breakfast option available this year. It depends on our numbers.
There are 11 rooms being held for us, with a deposit needed to secure these dates and rooms by mid-May. (Fully refundable until late September.) An estimated count is needed ASAP.
Please let Gail Booth know if you are interested or have any questions. You can reach her by email at gail.booth17@gmail.com or by text or phone call to 984-260-6267.
Hope you will join us!
