This meaningful seasonal program sponsored by the Board of Christian Service is available through our website this year! By visiting the Alternative Christmas Market on-line you'll have the opportunity to make a difference in our local community and keep the real meaning of Christmas alive by donating to any of the nine worthy programs or organizations. Instead of giving an unneeded product to a loved one you have the opportunity to give to as many organizations and/or programs you like in honor of your loved one. The BCS has provided the following programs and/or organizations to choose from: Bi-lingual Exchange*, Re-entry and Reconciliation (R&R)*, Meals on Wheels, Urban Ministries, LBTQ Center of Durham, Senior Pharmacy Assistant, Threshold, Housing for New Hope, and Families Moving Forward.
