Urban Ministries Dinner March 30

March was our month to provide dinner for the homeless through Urban Ministries. The funds for this dinner are generated by Pilgrim’s Penny Sundays.

Once again we prepared the Mexican Lasagna, and provided salad with individual ranch dressing packs and a dessert. We prepare it at Pilgrim and take it to Urban Ministries for them to bake and dish out, which makes our contact at Urban Ministries minimal during the pandemic. Martha and Richard Whitaker once again volunteered, and so did several others. We provided enough food for 200 homeless individuals, and any leftovers are happily used by Urban Ministries at their other sites.
