Sacred Fire: A Durham Pentecost Celebration

On May 19, in Durham Central Park, Pilgrims joined with members of 10 congregations who are part of the Mount Level Community Partnership For Racial Justice to celebrate Pentecost in worship. Pilgrim’s role was to help children with crafts: fiery streamers, headbands with fire symbols, wind wands. It was a joyful and inspiring scene!
