Rev. Dr. Ginger Brasher-Cunningham, Senior Minister Ginger began serving Pilgrim as pastor on Dec 2, 2007. Before Pilgrim, she served North Community Church in Marshfield, MA as pastor, and served in several other Massachusetts churches. Prior to parish ministry, she had the opportunity to work in various chaplaincy roles. Ginger grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and earned her BA in Religion and Speech at Samford University in 1984. She received a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care at Southern Seminary in 1988 and a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Care from Ecumenical Theological Seminary in 1999.

Rev. Ginger will be on vacation Nov 23, Dec 6, and Dec 22.

Rev. Carla Gregg, Minister of Christian Education. Carla was called to Pilgrim in August of 2005. She received her M.Div from Duke Divinity School in 2006 and was ordained by the United Church of Christ in January 2007. A native of Charlotte and graduate of Salem College, Carla has deep ties to North Carolina. Before entering the M.Div.program she worked as a case manager at a refugee resettlement agency and a domestic violence shelter.

Rev. Carla will be on sabbatical from November 6, 2011 until January 10, 2012.  Kyle Tade will oversee Christian Education while she is gone.

Eden Badgett, Music Director.  Eden first began working at Pilgrim as an interim choir director, and in November 2010, she began serving as Director of Music.  She received a BA in music with a focus in choral conducting and voice from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, and is currently pursuing a Master's of Music in choral conducting from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  A native of Tennessee, she served as Director of Music for First United Methodist Church in Covington, TN, before moving to Greensboro in 2009.  Areas of focus in her studies include synesthesia in music, the compositional idiom of Benjamin Britten, and choral and vocal pedagogy.  Eden can be contacted at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Jeremy Harris, Pilgrim's accompanist, is a student at UNC-G.
Marty Powell, Administrative assistant
Marty joined the Pilgrim staff in 2007 following his retirement from a career in carpentry.  He brings to the demands of a lively church office his strong work ethic, proficiency in software skills, problem-solving abilities and strong desire to be of service to other people.
 
 
Marty will be on vacation Nov 28-29 and Dec 26-Jan 5.
Mike Lewis, Church Custodian Mike Lewis is a valued -- and appreciated -- member of the Pilgrim staff.
Nancy Chew, In-care student Nancy Chew is seeking ordination in the UCC.

Kyle Tade, Seminary Intern.  Kyle is a second-year student at Duke Divinity School and will be Pilgrim's intern for the 2011-2012 academic year.  After growing up in Chicago and attending a UCC church there, Kyle graduated from Elmhurst College with majors in Spanish and Religious Studies.  At Duke, his interests are in pastoral care and Christian education, the significance and role of scripture in the life of the Church, and what it means to evangelize and witness to others.
