“Whoever you are, wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”
Welcoming Statement
We affirm our faith in Jesus Christ and in the Church that he has called into being which, by his grace and mercy, welcomes all. We encourage all who join us and confess Jesus Christ--regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, social, economic, physical or mental condition--to share fully in all aspects of our church life and leadership. We believe relationships between individuals, groups, and nations must be based on love, justice, commitment, and mutual respect; and we strive toward such relationships in our church, homes and community.
Pilgrim is a vibrant and diverse congregation dedicated to living out God’s call in Micah 6:8 to love kindness, do justice and walk humbly with God. We welcome all people who are searching for a spiritual home and a family of faith. You will find us…

Our worship services are welcoming to people with special needs: we have pews accessible to wheelchair users, and we have large print bulletins and hearing devices available to everyone.
Children are an integral and welcome part of worship. Please feel free to keep your infant with you in worship. If you need to leave the sanctuary for any reason you are welcome to sit in the Dowdy room down the hall to listen to the service. A nursery is also provided during the service for infants through age two. Older children attend the beginning of worship and leave for their Sunday school classes after the children's word. The Sunday school classes are in the Christian education wing.
