New Way to Help the Freedom Schools Durham
In our continuing support of the Freedom Schools Durham, we have been presented with an additional way to help.
During the Schools' program weeks, weekly family dinners are served to the parents and children, in conjunction with a presentation. These weekly meetings are important to keeping families engaged with learning and the school.
Volunteers are needed to facilitate each of these dinners. Help is needed with coordinating, prep, cooking, serving, and cleaning. The location is Epworth United Methodist Church. Four Tuesdays in July are available for volunteers so far.
