Rev. Dr. Ginger Brasher-Cunningham, Senior Minister
Ginger began serving Pilgrim as pastor on Dec 2, 2007. Before Pilgrim, she served North Community Church in Marshfield, MA as pastor, and served in several other Massachusetts churches. Prior to parish ministry, she had the opportunity to work in various chaplaincy roles. Ginger grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and earned her BA in Religion and Speech at Samford University in 1984. She received a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care at Southern Seminary in 1988 and a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Care from Ecumenical Theological Seminary in 1999. email Ginger Brasher-Cunningham

Rev. Carla Gregg, Minister of Christian Education
Carla was called to Pilgrim in August of 2005. She received her M.Div from Duke Divinity School in 2006 and was ordained by the United Church of Christ in January 2007. A native of Charlotte and graduate of Salem College, Carla has deep ties to North Carolina. Before entering the M.Div.program she worked as a case manager at a refugee resettlement agency and a domestic violence shelter. email Carla Gregg

Tanya Crawford Best, Ministry Intern
Tanya has completed the Pastoral Leadership Development Program of the Southern Conference of the UCC. She is an associate minister at Mt. Calvary UCC and is employed at the Department of Social Service. She also serves on the Ministry Council of the Eastern NC Association and as Second Vice President of the Eastern NC Church Women of the Southern Conference. She is a native of Durham with a BA in accounting from NC A&T University.

James Keith, Music Director
James Keith is a graduate of McPherson College with a degree in vocal performance, and is enrolled as a doctoral degree student at UNC-Greensboro in choral conducting. He has sung in choirs, played in concert bands, and conducted concerts for many years. He is also involved in musical theater, theater and opera. |

Marty Powell, Administrative assistant
Marty joined the Pilgrim staff in 2007 following his retirement from a career in carpentry. He brings to the demands of a lively church office his strong work ethic, proficiency in software skills, problem-solving abilities and strong desire to be of service to other people.

For more than six years, Ken has been putting meaning behind the name of his firm: Smiley's Maintenance. His friendly "can-do" attitude, his attention to detail and his frequent contributions above and beyond the call of duty have made him a valued -- and appreciated -- member of the Pilgrim staff. |
